October 17, 2009 - Memorial Day 2010. Finders Keepers! Look for hand-crafted, signed and numbered glass floats on the beaches of
Lincoln City.
Handcrafted Glass Sand Dollar Drop
February 20 - 21, 2010. More than 300 glass sand dollars will be dropped on Lincoln City beaches. See if you can discover one. Weather and ocean permitting.
Whale Watch Week
March 20 -27, 2010. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Trained volunteers will be present at 8 different sites in Lincoln City, Depoe Bay and Newport to show visitors the gray whales.
About 18,000 whales will pass by our coast during March, April, May and June on their way to Alaska's Bering Sea.

Indoor Kite Festival at Taft High School
March 27 & 28, 2010. Indoor kite flying, demonstrations, aerial performance, kids events, and more.
Great Oregon Coast Garage Sale
April 16 -18, 2010. The City of Lincoln City promotes this event with over 100 individual and organized garage sales. There will also be a citywide garage sale in Newport on the same weekend.
Cinco De Mayo Fish Taco Cook-Off
May 1, 2010. In honor of "Cinco de Mayo" come to this event at the Culinary Center in Lincoln City where Chefs from throughout Oregon will compete for the title of "Best Fish Taco". Admission is free. 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Mutt Masters Dog Show and Olympics
May 15, 2010. Dog competitions for all breeds, sizes and ages. Fun for the whole family.
Art-Sea Street Fair in the historic Taft District
June 11 -13, 2010. Art vendors, kids activities, plein air painters and more.
Summer Kite Festival at D River Wayside
June 26 & 27, 2010. Kite flying, demonstrations, and kids events.
4th of July Fireworks
July 4th. Great fireworks right across from the hotel over Siletz Bay.
Sand Castle Contest
August 7th. Come see the fun sand castles at Taft Beach. Food donations
will be accepted at the contest for the Lincoln City Food Bank.
