Glass Floats Finders Keepers
Mid-October to Memorial Day. Hand-crafted glass floats being placed
along the 7-1/2 miles (12 km) of public beach in Lincoln City, Oregon
from the Roads End area to the Cutler City area. You find it, you keep it! Floats may be found above the high tide line and below the beach
embankment. Floats will not be found in or on the cliffs. Please be
aware of beach safety. Never turn your back on the ocean.
Lincoln City Farmers Market
May 1 - October 16, 2011. Every Sunday on the lawn of the Lincoln City Cultural Center from 9AM - 3PM.
Fall Kite Festival
October 8 - 9, 2011. At D-River Wayside State Park from 10AM - 4PM. Enjoy demonstrations by expert fliers, kid's kite making, Rokkaku Battle, raffles, kid's parade, and more fun in the sand.
Glass Gala
October 15, 2011. This annual event kicks off the placement of hand-crafted, signed and numbered glass floats on the beaches of Lincoln City. At Spanish Head, doors open at 6:00 p.m., dinner served at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $75.
Chowder Cook-Off
November 12, 2011. This annual event is 11am-2pm at the Culinary Center in Lincoln City. Enjoy chowder prepared by some of the best chefs in the Pacific Northwest. Admission is free, with tasting-sized portions available for a small fee.
Mardi Gras Jambalya Cook-Off
January 28, 2012. See what our Oregon coast chefs can create at this event held at the Culinary Center in Lincoln City, from 11am-2pm. Admission is free, with tasting-sized portions available for a small fee.
